Teamwork and prioritization skills, along many others, were developed exponentially as a designer for Macy’s. With a great deal of moving parts creatively and departmentally—working together while simultaneously owning your role were fundamental for success.
Art Direction for on-figure and still photography / editorial design.
PROCESS
After moodboarding and before moving on set to produce the material that would end up in book, we would swipe and build multiple variations of the stories in an effort to create a cohesive theme throughout.
This step aided tremendously in our efficiency—especially assisted in giving perspective/context to stylists, photographers, etc.
